in the Philippines

FTMS Filipino Tribe Mission Sweden work among the indigenous people of the Philippines to assist with education for own provision and development in line with the Convention on the Child.

The organization was founded in Sweden and the Philippines in 2005, and work in southern Philippines, on the island Mindanao to help the local people to reach knowledge and experience in how they can support themselves and in the same time produce in an environment friendly way.

We cooperate with local government units and universities so that the education to the countries children shall be equal. We are a complement and a co-operator to several bigger organizations of different background.

FTMS has a Christian foundation, but cooperate with both Islamic and humanistic organizations when it comes to fields such as education and medical care. The collect for Children's Health Care, CYP1100, is aimed to children and youth who need help for medical treatment and costs in connection with that the children and youth that lives in the provinces and tropical rainforest, shall be able to come to doctor, nurse or midwife for mothers to be.
